Hydraulic Flying Leads Design Tool Development
Developed using orcaflex analysis data and mathcad calculations, this tool uses parametric analysis data to provide design data for sizing the HFL bundle, VBRs, Termination Head Frame angle selection, Installation Height envelope and identifies the need for Buoyancy Modules.
Instrumental in identifying and reducing cost risks upfront in the project bid process.
Helica Tool Development
Participated in a Joint Industry Project (JIP) to validate Helica Tool used to estimate umbilical performance under bending and tension loads. Reviewed test cases, test data and correlation results. Helica Analysis tool increases productivity and identifies risk to the project faster in the analysis phase.
Seabed Stability of Curves APDL Tool Development
Using ANSYS APDL programming and mathcad calculations, devloped a parametric tool to analyze pipelines and umbilicals stability with laid in curve on seabed. The tool identifies risk to the seabed layout and provides the new capability to assess the stability of curves which traditional tools like stablelines cannot be used.

Coefficient of Drag calculation tool for circular cross section structures dependent on Renolyds Number and Kugler Carpenter Number. This toocloses an important gap in modeling response of cyclindrical members in subsea environments.

Tool development to assess umbilical performance under Bending, Tension and Crush loading. Identifies critical design issues upfornt in the product design process.
